Cutting-Edge Aerodynamics

Leveraging extensive CFD simulations and 3D-printed prototypes, the new P5 is approximately 5 watts faster than its predecessor. This boost in performance comes from optimized design and advanced wheel integration.

Optimized for Wider, Faster Wheels

The P5 frame accommodates wider wheels, such as the Reserve 77/88 with 29mm tires, reducing rolling resistance and enhancing aerodynamic efficiency. This setup not only increases speed but also provides a smoother ride.

Enhanced Front End Design

Inspired by the S5, the P5’s one-piece front end is simpler to assemble and adjust. The stack is adjustable up to 40mm, with a 10mm drop in basebar height to minimize frontal area. The new riser offers tilt adjustability from 0 to 30 degrees in 5-degree increments, catering to individual rider preferences.

Aerodynamic Frame

The P5 frame is aerodynamically superior, saving an additional watt compared to the previous model. It has clearance for 34mm tires, perfectly fitting the Reserve 77/88 wheelset and Vittoria’s 29mm tires, achieving a total system savings of about 5 watts.

Improved Comfort and Control

The new armrests and pads are wider, taller, and thicker, significantly enhancing comfort and control. This design allows for better aerodynamics by enabling you to maintain the most efficient riding position for longer periods.

Optimized Stiffness for a Smoother Ride

The new fastback seat stay design reduces vertical stiffness by about 22% while maintaining the necessary lateral stiffness for effective power transfer. This results in a more comfortable ride, helping you arrive at T2 fresher and ready to perform.
