Cervelo P5 Dura-Ace Di2 Triathlon Bike
Unleash Unmatched Speed
The P5 is engineered for one primary purpose: maximizing speed between Point A and Point B. Drawing on 30 years of aerodynamic expertise and feedback from elite triathletes and Tour de France champions, we've crafted a race machine that sets new benchmarks in speed, adjustability, and comfort.
Innovative Aerodynamics
Harnessing insights from countless CFD simulations and validating them with 3D-printed prototypes, the new P5 delivers a remarkable performance upgrade. It's approximately 5 watts faster than its predecessor, thanks to design optimizations and advanced wheel integrations.
Wider, Faster Wheels
The new Cervelo P5's frame accommodates wider wheels, such as the Reserve 77/88 paired with 29mm tires, reducing rolling resistance and enhancing aerodynamic efficiency. This combination not only makes the bike faster but also offers a smoother ride with less resistance.
Refined Front End for Speed and Adjustability
Inspired by the pioneering S5, the P5's one-piece front end simplifies assembly and adjustment. The stack is adjustable up to 40mm, with a 10mm drop in basebar height to reduce frontal area. The new riser provides tilt adjustability from 0 to 30 degrees in 5-degree increments, catering to individual preferences for optimal performance.
Aerodynamic Frame Design
The P5's frame is aerodynamically superior, saving an additional watt compared to the previous model. With clearance for 34mm tires, it perfectly fits the Reserve 77/88 wheelset and Vittoria’s 29mm tires, achieving a total system savings of about 5 watts.
Enhanced Comfort and Control
The upgraded armrests and pads are wider, taller, and thicker, significantly improving comfort and control. This design ensures better aerodynamics by allowing you to maintain the most efficient riding position for longer periods.
Optimized Stiffness for a Smoother Ride
The new fastback seat stay design reduces vertical stiffness by about 22% while maintaining the necessary lateral stiffness for effective power transfer. This results in a more forgiving ride, helping you arrive at T2 fresher and ready to perform.
