The Campagnolo CN-RE500 chain pin is the only way to ensure that your Campagnolo chain is joined as the manufacturer intended. It cannot be used with any other link than the "branded one" on a Campagnolo 11-speed chain specially designed to accept this part. It is not to be used for re-joining an 11-speed chain removed for cleaning or maintenance. If in any doubt seek the assistance of a qualified mechanic.
