The third generation DT Swiss ARC 1400 Wheelset is the evolution of a range already proven at the highest levels of professional road and triathlon racing. Built in Europe, the wheelset features proprietary carbon rims developed with Swiss Side and tested at the GST wind tunnel in Germany.

DT Swiss ARC Rim Profile and Design

Both front and rear rims have a 22 mm internal width optimised for 28-30 mm tyres in a hybrid V-shape, allowing the use of deeper rims while providing superior crosswind stability. The wheels are hand-built with Swiss-made T-head Aero Comp spokes and DT pro-lock hidden nipples for aerodynamic efficiency and long-term strength.

DT Swiss Hubs, Freehubs and Axles

The ARC 1400 wheelset is equipped with DT’s 240 hubs featuring the Ratchet EXP drive system, offering reduced weight, improved bearing stance, and renowned DT Swiss reliability. The front wheel comes ready for a 12 x 100 mm thru axle, while the rear wheel is supplied with a 12 x 142 mm thru axle. Both Shimano Road and SRAM XDR freehubs are included.

DT Swiss Accessories and Warranty

The maximum recommended system weight is 110 kg. The wheels are supplied with tubeless rim tape and lightweight tubeless valves. They are warrantied for life against material or manufacturing defects, with a 10-year crash replacement programme available via DTSwiss.com.
