All CeramicSpeed bearings are hand-built in Denmark. Super smooth grade 3 Silicon Nitride balls are precisely matched within microns to hardened steel raceways that feature an ultra-smooth polished groove. The balls are held in place by a reinforced polyamide cage.

Optimised Performance

Every bearing is optimised with low-viscosity CeramicSpeed “Blue Grease” to minimise friction and extend bearing life. Non-contact seals protect against dirt and moisture. These bearings are suitable for all cycling disciplines including road, time trial, triathlon, track, cyclocross, and mountain biking. The benefits include very low friction, improved power transfer, and increased durability.

Quality Control

Each bearing undergoes four manual inspections during the building process to ensure all parts are perfectly matched.

Material Advantages

CeramicSpeed balls are 400% smoother, 128% harder, and 58% lighter than standard steel balls typically used in bicycle bearings. Compared to other ceramic balls on the market, CeramicSpeed balls are 15% harder, can withstand 99% higher loads, and are 100% smoother.
